Indie Boots brings independent film, theatre, and music to audiences through annual festivals, special events and curated programs.
We show independent films that are a little unruly, films with different perspectives on whose stories are worth telling, what's funny, and how the world works. We show films that are micro-budget, or queer, or about activists, or women, or people of color, or deal with class, or disability, or the environment, or gender, or living outside the mainstream, or, well, you get the idea.
And a lot of the films are funny, too!

Special Programs
In addition to our annual festival, we are collaborating with other arts and activist organizations to bring independent films to new audiences through special events and curated programs. Visit www.indieboots.org or follow us on facebook and twitter, to stay abreast of all Indie Boots news.
Our curated programs are 30-90 minutes of short films, usually followed by a Q&A. The films for these special events are selected from the annual Indie Boots Film Festival, the festival circuit and from submissions to the annual festival. A call for entries is not posted for the special programs, which helps us keep the turn-around time manageable. If your organization is interested in screening a unique film program curated by Indie Boots for your event or festival, please contact us at info@indieboots.org for more information.
